Let It Go

Every now and then, you will come in contact with different emotions and feelings inside you.

Some emotions and feelings are good for your physical and mental well-being. You should always welcome such thoughts and emotions that encourage positive actions and motivates you to do something good. Emotions that normally trigger such positive reactions inside you are love, kindness, compassion, and faith.

If some emotions cause positive reactions, then certain emotions also cause negative reactions inside you. Instead of making you feel better, they harm your physical and mental well-being. Emotions that normally trigger such negative reactions inside you are hatred, selfishness, anger, and jealousy.

What to do when you are surrounded by such negative feelings and emotions?

The more you think upon them and feed them, the more they will grow and damage your inner well-being.

When such negativity manifests your mind, it is best to not spend too much time absorbed in them, and just let them go.

Your hatred won’t last for long time, if you just let it go.

You don’t have to do that act selfishly, if you just let it go.

Any form of anger will subside, if you just let it go.

Any form of jealousy will cease to exist, if you just let it go.

To let go, first, you need to have the right understanding about the truth behind these negative actions. You need to have the knowledge that every bad deed done to you by someone, harms the doer more than it harms you.

When you let go any negative feeling, you become free from its grip, and it can’t harm you anymore. But when a person does any harm to another innocent person, he cannot easily let it go, as deep inside he knows he is the one who did a wrong act.

To solve any problem the best solution is to understand the root cause of the problem, and take actions that will prevent it from arising all together.

The second best solution is to stop worrying about the problem and just letting it go.

We have to use this second solution sometimes, especially when we are very busy in doing our work, as we don’t have enough time to reflect upon the root cause of such problems.

When you are running out of time and can’t afford to think upon such negative thoughts to find their solutions, just take a breathe and let them go.

Letting go, you will come to peace with yourself.

Letting go, you will will be the greater one.

Letting go, you will be the righteous one.

Letting go, you will be the free one.
